Life Care Center of Michigan City treats first responders to lunch

On April 20, 2017, Life Care Center of Michigan City, Indiana, held its Fourth Annual Health Fair.

Dozens of facility residents, family members, associates and community members attended and enjoyed visiting 43 vendor booths. Local businesses shared information, and guests learned about all kinds of options to help them, including home health, Meals on Wheels, YMCA fitness offerings, medical supplies, cancer foundations and more....

On Oct. 12, 2016, local health care workers visited Life Care Center of Michigan City, Indiana, for a Taste and Tour.

Two doctors and their wives, one nurse practitioner, six case managers, one therapist, one chaplain and 13 doctors’ staffers came by for a 12-minute tour of the building and a take-home pasta meal from a local Italian restaurant, with chopped salad and dessert provided by the facility.

On Dec. 5, 2015, children and grandchildren of residents and associates at Life Care Center of Michigan City, Indiana, had a lot of fun at the center’s Breakfast with Santa.

With around 60 attendees, the center divided the French toast stick and sausage breakfast into two sittings. The breakfast was truly a team effort.
